Walking Around… the morning of Mar. 4

Hi, y’all! Happy Saturday! I hope you are having a great time enjoying this beautiful Texas weather! Today’s weather is 50 degrees with lots of sunshine! Weather like this only means one thing for attire: Adidas leggings, a new Amazon workout racerback shirt, Brooks walking shoes, and headphones. This weather always is peaceful to be around. Why not enjoy it out in nature!

Walking for today

We walked around Woodlawn Lake Park. Yes, this is my usual walking spot. However, it is a must-visit if you have not been. Whether you are going there to play basketball, let your kids play on the playground, feed the ducks, walk, run, skate, bike, etc. It has all you need! I love going here to walk because of the peaceful atmosphere. There is just something about watching the ducks waddle in front of you as you walk around the lake.

A walk can be just what your doctor ordered. After a long hard week, peace and relaxation are something we all can need from time to time. Regardless of how you feel, a walk can help create endorphins which help increase self-esteem and can cause a sense of euphoria.

In my own experience, a walk helps brighten my day. Reflection from the week’s event can help put things into perspective. Maybe a change in mentality or a change in habit is what is needed. Just like the waddle of a duck, life can sway back and forth between the good and the bad. Walking can help you gain clarity to set you back on the right path. I chose a morning walk to help clear my head and allow me to enjoy the remainder of the day.
